Note on Additional Costs
If you are unable to attend a scheduled appointment, please cancel at least 48 hours in advance. Appointments cancelled after this time will be charged in full. Any additional costs for materials, prescriptions, or external laboratories will be discussed in advance and settled directly with the laboratories or pharmacies.
Billing of Services:
For privately insured clients and those with supplementary insurance, I follow the Fee Schedule for Heilpraktiker (GebüH). However, the cost for all clients is the same, regardless of insurance status. Since the GebüH dates back to 1986 and has not been adjusted for rising costs or inflation, some of my fees exceed the maximum rates set by the GebüH and must be covered by the client.
Health Insurance and Reimbursement:
Many private health insurances, civil service aid schemes, and supplementary insurance plans reimburse Heilpraktiker services in full or in part. The amount reimbursed and any personal contribution depend on your individual insurance contract. Please check with your insurance provider in advance which services are covered.
Because the GebüH has not been updated since 1986, some of my prices exceed its maximum rates and must be borne by you.
I do not bill insurance companies directly. This means you pay the costs in full and can then submit the invoice to your insurer for reimbursement. Upon request, I can provide an invoice based on the GebüH.
Note:
Statutory health insurance generally does not cover Heilpraktiker treatments. I am happy to answer any questions you may have regarding reimbursement.
